Positive: We enjoyed the space of the apartment which is light and comfortable. For that its great value for money. It is well situated in walking distance of all the main historic features of Puebla. There are many restaurants, bars and shops nearby. There is 24hr secure free parking next door. The utility room with a washing machine came in handy as we stayed for almost a week. All bedrooms are large and well lit, with good storage space. The third bedroom faces the internal lightwell and was very quiet and equipped with a very comfortable king-size bed. The lounge dining room was a great place to relax and eat. Our host Alfonso who speaks English, was charming, attentive and receptive to our suggestions in order to make the space even more comfortable. He took us to see Lucha Libre at the Arena Puebla and we had a marvellous evening together!
Negative: Property needs a little updating with removal of bedroom carpets and having blackout curtains in bedroom would be good. It’s a period property with beautiful features such as tiled kitchen floor and retro windows that with a bit of attention will add a lot to its character and charm.
Summary: Space, light, and period charm in a great location.
