3 Bedroom House in Foothills, Yuma
Sand Dunes, and Lakes, and Mountains! Plenty of parking for your boat, Quads, etc.
My lovely home features tile floors, and 3 lovely bedrooms, internet, and cable TV. The master bedroom has a comfy King sized Tempurpedic Mattress, nice linens, and 4 pillows, some feather, some foam, and a large bath with Garden Tub and walk in Shower. I provide plenty of linens, soap, and shampoo, and conditioner, hairdryer.
The second bedroom has 2 twin beds that are also comfy, with nice linens. There is a 3rd bedroom with a Queen Bed, memory foam topper, and nice linens. (Total, a King bed, Queen bed, 2 Twin Trundle beds) There are a total of 2 bathrooms. The landscaping is quite nice, and there is ample outdoor space with patio chairs to relax in, and a table and 4 chairs to eat out on the covered porch. This home features some nice mountain views from the back porch. There is a dishwasher, and Reverse Osmosis for fresh drinking water, icemaker, and fully appointed kitchen. (I provide coffee, creamer, sugar, sweet n low, salt and pepper, spices.) The furnishings are beautiful and the home is decorated beautifully and tastefully.
The actual city of Yuma is about 15 minutes away and the popular and much visited town of Algodones, Mexico is just a 30 minute drive. (Don't forget your passport!) (PS if you have a passport, but forgot it, you can respectfully apologize and see if they will look it up.)
Thousands of winter visitors flock to this little town for excellent inexpensive dentists and doctors. Example: A Crown is appx $300.00-400.00 and dentures arount $500. You can purchase most prescription drugs less expensive with no prescription. There are generic versions of almost all drugs, at a much reduced cost. Some popular drugs are Ambien, Hormones, diet pills, Viagra, Cialis, Cholesterol lowering drugs, and many more. Just step up to the pharmacist and ask.
If you love golf, there are 3 golf coursed in the immediate area, within a mile or 2. There is another golf course over the mountain in Wellton that is less travelled, but very nice.
Senator's Wash is a popular lake for boaters, and is about 45 minutes or less away. Mitry lake is a tiny lake about 20 minutes for fishing.
The Sand Dunes are about 45 minutes from the house, and is very popular for dunebuggys, quads, etc. Return of the Jedi, the Star Wars series was filmed here.
If you want to stay a month or even a couple of weeks, San Diego and the beach is about 3 hours away.
Close by are restaurants, large grocery stores, and service stations.
Oct November are beautiful months as are my favorites, April and May. The weather is beautiful in these months, so do not feel that you need to come in peak season, which is Jan -March. Other months may be even more lovely!
