The space
Fantastic location in safe Rancho Palos verdes. 5 mins drive to Golden Cove restaurants and grocery stores, Ralphs and Trader Joe’s. 15-20 mins walk or 2 mins drive to Abalone Cove Beach or Terranea Resort with public rocky and sandy beaches, tide pools, walking trails, more restaurants, and spa. Resort restaurants and spa are open to the public as are all the beautiful oceanfront grounds. Abundant hiking and biking trails steps from the house as well. Only .25 - 1 mile walk to Wayfarers Chapel, Catalina Gardens, La Venta, Pt. Vicente Lighthouse and park.
Check in time is 4 pm, check out time is 11 am.

This is a clean, lovely and professionally decorated studio with a full kitchen, king sized bed, and full bathroom. It has it's own private patio with parking up to 2 cars. Plus brand new polished concrete floors!

The patio has an outdoor patio set, including a small 2 person couch, 2 small chairs with a coffee table. There are also 3 large umbrellas for shade.
The outdoor space has lots of flowing plants, a pomegranate tree, honeysuckles, baby palms, plus a lemon tree.

The unit has a full sized kitchen, bath, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, king size bed, and 2 small futon single couches.

Smart vizio TV, with all your favorite apps like Netflix, Hulu, amazon prime, etc all ready for you to sign in!
Pandora and free tv channels included, (smart TV with Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. You need your own accounts to sign in.). There is an electric fireplace that adds ambiance and romance in the studio. The Tv and Fireplace hang near the king sized bed, 2 small single futons that fold out flat ( comfortable for small adults).
Everything, the mattress and pillows have allergy/bug bed proof covers. The mattress has a waterproof cover, then an allergy free cover as well.

The kitchen has a granite island with a 3 bar stool eating area. Kitchen has all basic necessities needed - pots, pans, utensils, etc.
NEW! There is a washer dryer unit in the pantry. Please read directions…after every wash, there is a white tube, bottom right that needs the water drained into a bowl. It stores about a cup or more of water. The dryer vent right above it pulls out to clean the lint!
Wifi is fast, over 330 speed.
Coffee pot in room. Starbucks is 1-2 miles down the street with stunning views, near Trader Joes and other restaurants.

Noises: Air conditioner-from main house, house attic fans, and occasional dogs barking or howling due to sirens.
More possible noise: Gardners, trash night and morning, Wed Night and Thursday from neighbors rolling their trash cans to the street and back. Plus garbage
Overall, the unit is in a quiet, beautiful residential area. You may hear light voices (inaudible) or footsteps, vacuum noise occasionally upstairs. There is a white noise machine, and fans to help drown out typical noises if needed.
Trash day is Thursday, (noisier day than most), blue are recycling, gray are for trash, and green are for gardening trimmings.
My reviews speak for themselves, and there has been a mutual respect between myself and all my wonderful, awesome guests!
NOTE: 2 German shephards, live in my yard. I bring them in at night at about 7 pm, and let them out about 7-8 am. They only bark when strangers, (not renters), are near the fences.
Host lives on property with family. I️ return phone calls and texts ASAP, within an hour or two, but usually quicker than that. Please call if it’s urgent!
Please leave the studio in the same condition it was when you moved into it. That means it should be cleaned before you leave.

The driveway up to the white fence, where you shall park. Inside the white gate is your private patio where the studio's french door entrance is located.
Other things to note
Abalone Cove beach is a beautiful rustic beach where you can discover tide pools, sandy places to swim and when the surf is up it is also a desirable place to surf and/or snorkel, depending on the waves. Right now due to land movement, you can take a beautiful walk along the cliffs but to access the closest beach please go to Terranea Resort, a mile north.
A weekly or bi-weekly light cleaning is available for $45. This includes changing all sheets and towels, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning the bathroom.
No small children allowed as the studio is not baby or child proof.
Please note: we have COX internet provider, their service is about 95% reliable.

The WIFI Company COX, the only one that works in this remote area sometimes does not work. It works about 75% of the time. I had a guest bring in a T mobile hot spot plug in device (used to be $49/months), they had no problem with the wifi.
