Summary: Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It's exactly as pictured and is very quiet, clean, and private. The memory foam mattress is super comfy. Lots of natural light and the kitchen and bathroom were nicely remodeled. My husband and I were visiting for Salem's Halloween festivities, which were only a mile away. Everything is walkable! There's a convenience store and a coffee/bakery just a block away. We weren't able to use the TV in the living room because the firestick wasn't working. We tried troublshooting and notified the host, but it stayed frozen on the startup screen. The TV in the bedroom worked fine though, so we used that. Hopefully, they'll fix it for the next renters. Parking details were not clearly communicated to us before we got there. The instructions were to park on the street during the day and in the attached driveway at night. However, during October, street parking is for residents only. When we messaged the host, they initially suggested we park in a parking garage during the day, which is pay-to-park and a mile away. This was obviously not ok with us because the listing states there's on-site parking. Luckily, after a couple message exchanges, we were later told we could park in the driveway the whole time. It appeared to us that the manager and owner needed to clarify with eachother that the driveway is reserved for guests in October. We were relieved the host was able to resolve this quickly; they were very nice and quick to respond.
