Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Enjoy listening to the birds whether on the front porch, back deck, or screened in weatherized back porch. Steps to the lake and minutes to getting on a boat, this peaceful lake house is the perfect getaway. We are 15 min from downtown Smithville with all the local shopping and downtown charm. There are many wonderful hiking trails with waterfalls, canoeing or kayaking day trips in the surrounding areas as well.
This is our home at the lake. We are sure you will enjoy it as much as we do. There are 3 full bedrooms plus a loft with a Queen sized bed. The Master suite has a private bathroom and there is a second full bath for the other rooms. There are also many places to gather or get away including a open Kitchen and Living Room with a real wood burning fireplace, an all weather screened in porch, an out door deck with a grill and fire pit, a front porch were you can watch the traffic go by, and a secrete study in a second loft up a winding staircase.
As this our home at the lake, we have a few storage areas locked off. In the Master bedroom you will have one closet and two large dressers to keep your clothes, however, one closet will be locked. In the Master bath a couple of the drawers will be locked but there is plenty that will be available for storing your things. Finally the garage will also be locked and unavailable to guests. There is ample parking in the driveway which wraps around the front and side of the house.

Summary: Beautiful property that is well maintained and has awesome amenities. Smart home and loved the location! It is within walking distance of the marina. This house is set up to create many memories as a family. We really enjoyed the hummingbirds and the outdoor shower. All bedding is very comfortable for a great night of rest. Everything you need to enjoy your time at CHL. This place is very clean and has plenty of room. You can tell the design of this house is very thought out and meant to RELAX. The only suggestion I have is if we could have paid a fee to bring our lab. Even if it is set up that pets are allowed but have to stay in the outside fence and not allowed inside the house. This place is nice, and I understand not allowing dogs inside. Our lab loves the water and the boat! We also would have rented a golf cart to drive back and forth to the marina if available. We really enjoyed our stay, and you cannot beat it for the price! Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful lake house!
