Summary: The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Property was in good shape and had a nice walking trail on property. We would rated this property much higher, but we stayed in room 506. This was the noisiest hotel room we have EVER stayed in. It is typically very windy in this part of Costa Rica and this unit was the upstairs unit with a tin roof. We thought the whole building was going to come down when the wind blew. I'm a sound sleeper but even I had a very fitful night's sleep while here. Yes, the road up to the lodge is attrocious but we sort of expected that based on previous reviews. Just expect to add a lot of extra time to estimates of time to get there. The restaurant was fine and service was good. Just fix the roof!
