Positive: The apartment is very comfortable, clean, well-equipped, spacious, and has a beautiful ocean view from the balcony. The location is amazing, just a few steps from the sandy beach, the supermarket is just next to the apartment, and there are nice restaurants nearby. On top of that, if you come by car, there are many parking places around this area. The internet connection is stable and great for work. In general, we very much enjoyed our 3-week stay there.
Negative: Unfortunately, this area can be quite noisy at night—not because of people, but because of public services collecting glass from the nearby bins every night. It's crazy that they are allowed to break glass for ~15 minutes in the middle of the night, sometimes as late as 2 or 4 AM. Often, the disturbance is repeated, with one garbage truck arriving at 1 AM, another at 4 AM, and occasionally, road cleaning as well. Although I usually sleep like a rock, this noise always woke me up. I believe the only solution is to upgrade the windows to more soundproof ones. We were able to deal with it, but if you are sensitive, you're gonna need some earplugs :). AC would be also very helpful during those very hot days, but it wasn't that bad :).
