You are just 3 minutes away from Springy Point beach and Recreation area. Springy Point – Area Recreation. Outdoor recreation in the area includes canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. You can also enjoy boating and other water sports on Lake Pend Oreille. The town of Sandpoint is right across the water and offers a marina, parks, shopping and other sightseeing opportunities. You are just minutes from Sandpoint and all of the amazing dining establishments and breweries located downtown Sandpoint. The city beach is a great place to take your kiddos for a sandy beach and they have a lifeguard on duty. You can walk from there t beautiful downtown Sandpoint.
Schweitzer Mountain is a short drive from the property for a great day of skiing. When you return home, you can enjoy a nice fire in the fireplace.
You are 6 miles to downtown Sandpoint where you will find amazing dining establishments, shopping and breweries. 16.6 miles to the base of Sweitzer Mountain for an amazing day on the slopes, then come back and have a nice fire in the fireplace!
There is a 2-car garage for your use and a carport. Plenty of room to park a boat trailer, if needed.
Instructions for gas fireplace
Check to see if pilot light is on. There should should be a small blue flame in the fireplace in the back right side.
2. Skip this step if pilot light is on. If no pilot light, turn knob to "pilot" and push down while also pushing down on the ignite button on the left. Keep pilot knob pushed and turn to "on" and release. If this does not immediately light the fire place, repeat this step 3-5 times until it does.
3. If pilot light is lit, simply turn the knob to "on" position. You can adjust intensity with the high/low knob.
4. Turn the knob to "pilot" to turn the fireplace off.
5. Do not turn the knob to "off" as it turns the pilot light off and you will have to repeat step 1.
This fireplace is not currently tied into the living room thermostatand will heat the house quickly. Please turn to the low setting or pilot setting if you leave the house.
Please remove all garbage from the house and put in garbage can outside. If you are there on a Wednesday or are leaving on a Tuesday, please roll garbage can out to the road for garbage pickup. Make sure all dishes are in dishwasher and running when you leave. Strip bed linens off beds leave in laundry room. Please shoot me a text as you are leaving.
