Welcome to The Haven in East San Diego. We welcome you to enjoy our home featuring (at no additional cost) a heated pool (heated to 91° during the winter), a hot tub, a game room (featuring a pool table, shuffle board, classic arcades, and an X-Box 360), and tons of great spaces to lounge inside and outside! Located just 20 minutes from the airport, downtown San Diego, the San Diego Zoo, La Jolla Shores (and a ton of other beaches) and more. The home is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac this home has everything you need to enjoy your San Diego vacation!
A little about the house:
The Haven is a 4 bed/3 bath home that sleeps 9 people in beds, plus two air mattresses and a couch for a total of 14 people (MAX). There's a heated pool (with automatic safety cover to keep the kids safe) a large hot tub, propane heater and fire pit, trampoline (with safety net), climbing structure, a game room with a pool table, shuffle board, arcade games, and an X-Box Series X (with four controllers), and lot's for the little one's to do!
This home is set up for families!
As you arrive, there is a large driveway with plenty of room for multiple vehicles. A beautiful jacaranda tree towers over the front of the home and a peaceful grass area with two rocking chairs for enjoying the kids playing in the cul-de-sac. The newly painted home looks great and inviting.
As you go up the stairs to the front door there is an electronic keypad for entry (code provided prior to check in) into a beautifully entry landing. New flooring and design features invite you upstairs to the main living area, or downstairs to the lower bedrooms, bathroom, laundry facilities, and game room.
The living room is large with an open floorplan into a play area for the kids, a large couch and a smart TV over the fireplace with ALL the streaming apps already signed in and ready to watch (Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, Prime, and more). The gas fireplace is easy to use and enjoy for the cooler evenings or morning coffee. There's also a basic treadmill for a brisk walk or a jog. The large dining area seats 8 with more seating at the bar.
The kitchen is very well stocked with all the cooking utensils, measuring cups, pots/pans, Instapot, rice cooker, crockpot, flatiron, spices and oils and everything else you need to cook.
Outside you will find the heated pool, spa, patio lights, ton's of seating areas and shade for adults and children. In addition there are loungers, pool towels, a trampoline, climbing structure and sandbox! Pool floaties are provided for your enjoyment! There's a large outdoor dining table and a small kids table for beautiful outdoor dining. We also provide propane for the BBQ, outdoor fire pit, and patio heater.
Also upstairs you will find the guest bathroom with a shower and dual sinks. Shower towels, washcloths, and hand towels are always provided as is shampoo, conditioner and body wash in all our bathrooms.
The first bedroom has a twin that converts to a king size bed. We set it up as a king as a default, if you'd prefer a twin, just let us know! It's a super cute room with a dresser, two closets, and a nice mural on the wall. The super fast Wi-Fi is located in this room.
The master bedroom is HUGE. A king size bed with ultra comfortable Purple mattress is just the start. There are several seating areas, a balcony, ton's of natural light (and window coverings of course). There's a large dresser for all your clothes and a fireplace with an electric insert for warming, or just some ambiance. There's even a Lululemon workout Mirror with weights and a yoga mat if you want to get in a quick workout! We have a Lululemon account set up for guests to use, the instructions are on the wall with a QR code for ease of access.
The massive master bathroom has a huge walk-in closet, dual sinks, a soaking bathtub, and a shower. All well appointed and designed for your enjoyment and peace of mind while you travel!
There are two bedrooms downstairs, laundry, a bathroom and access to the garage, which has been converted to a game room.
The first downstairs bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin over full setup, as well as a seating area, kids books, and a dresser.
The second downstairs bedroom is a king size bed with a Purple mattress, a dresser, and a small desk for getting some work done while traveling. There is a large monitor downstairs that can easily connect to a laptop if you want! We also have a printer downstairs that guests are welcome to use if needed.
The bathroom has a shower/tub and single sink.
The laundry is in the hall and everything you need to do laundry is provided for you including detergent, dryer sheets (etc.).
The game room is my favorite with a pool table, shuffleboard, smart TV, X-Box Series X with game cloud and four wireless controllers. We also have some fun vintage style arcade games (Street Fighter II, NFL Blitz, and Pacman). It's a lot of fun!
