Positive: The location was fantastic. It’s a block from a small locals beach, .5 mile from the OB strip where there are lots of shops and restaurants, and you can see and hear the ocean from the property.
Negative: It really needs some maintenance and better furnishings to manage the heat from the sun. The ice maker needs defrosted,the bathroom fixtures were rusted, and there was a hole in the bathroom wall where the towel bar used to be. There is a substantial gap under one of the doors, like another review mentioned. The windows are in disrepair. There is no air conditioning, which is fine until the sun is high and it gets hot in there. Blackout window coverings on the windows facing the ocean would be helpful. There is also no where to sit outside on the property. They didn’t claim there was, but it would have been nice. The beach chair they mentioned the apt is equipped with was old with broken straps.
