Summary: The location of the property was perfect. Very private yet close to the town of Wilmington and close to the main road.about 15-20 minutes to Brattleboro. Loved the setting, the sound of the water in the stream behind the house in the woods, deer in the yard. Plenty of room for the kids to play outside. None of the windows had drapes on them. It gets very bright early in the morning. Would have liked to have some drapes on the windows in the bathrooms at least. Since it has wood floors you can hear every sound. Once 1 person is up, everyone was awake with the floor and stairs noise. A few of the beds made lots of noise when sitting or rolling over in bed. Ended up taking the mattresses off the beds and putting them on the floor. Found some ofthe wood on the box frames were cracked. The couches weren't very comfortable. They sagged and the loveseat had a strange curved piece of wood the stuck out in the middle of it when you leaned back in the center /middle of the back of seat. The dishwasher top rack was broken and would fall if we loaded it up. We ended up hand washing and drying all the dishes. Had everything in the kitchen we needed except a potato masher. We survived. YES I would rent this house again. The setting and the space inside was perfect for all of us.
