“Chickabee” is a term of Southern Endearment and is totally fitting for this little sweetie.
This eclectic 1 bedroom/1 bath mobile is the perfect escape. Situated in World’s Edge on a very private 10 acres and bordered by the Chimney Rock State Park, this little gem offers total seclusion in a deeply wooded setting, sprinkled with gorgeous trees and amazing large boulders. Perfect for a couple or a few friends - it offers a full size bed and a small sofa in the lounge, one full bathroom with tub/shower combo and a full kitchen with breakfast bar, sink, refrigerator, electric stove, microwave & coffee pot (no Dishwasher). There is also a very small capacity washer/dryer. Sit on the deck with your morning coffee and catch a glimpse of the local wildlife and at night gather round the large boulder framed fire-pit and listen to the cicadas. There is no TV, internet or wifi, but it does have cell coverage, Heat and AC. Explore and hike ‘til your heart’s content. The road access is partially paved and 4WD is not required (unless it’s snow covered), however it is a steep climb and you’ll want to take it slow. It has the feel of “glamping” with the luxury of separate rooms and extra amenities. If your needing modern luxury with technology beyond the basics - you should probably look elsewhere, but if you want a simple, clean, cozy and artfully appointed space that it feels like it’s a million miles away but is just a short drive to the Ingles grocery, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock Village or Tryon International Equestrian Center, then this is your haven. Linens are provided, along with other necessities and all the firewood you can gather.
