Our 4* apartment is one of only 30 in an MGM development known as Chalet du Gypse in the beautiful village of St Martin de Belleville (same valley as Val Thoren). It is ski-in ski-out as it is built on the village piste about 100 metres from the cable car which takes you up into the extensive 3 Valleys ski area. Book direct with the owners and save on the standard price for a week.
The apartment is approx 60 square metres and sleeps up to 6 with 2 bedrooms (one twin; one double with ensuite shower), separate bathroom with bath/ shower, toilet and hair dryer and a lounge/diner with kitchen which also sleeps 2 on a new luxury sofa-bed. There are 2 balconies - the side one has nice views down the valley and over part of the village. There is a TV with satellite channels, wifi, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, electric hob, dishwasher and multi function oven. A ski locker is provided and indoor car parking is available.
The building has a large reception lounge with log fire, sofas, table football, free wifi, games, books, children's area etc. There is also a swimming pool and jacuzzi, sauna, steam rooms and gym. Spa treatments are available for an extra payment. Reception and pool/spa are open daily from early until 8pm (reception closes 11am to 4pm). Bread and croissants can be ordered at reception for breakfast the next day. Check-in is 4pm and check out 11am - bags can be left with reception staff if required.
The beautiful village of St Martin has several restaurants and bars, as well as ski school, ski hire and various shops including a supermarket all set around the church in the village square. It is 20 minutes up the mountain from the town of Moutiers. Moutiers can be reached on the Eurostar/SNCF or is approx 2 hours from Grenoble airport, 21/2 hours from Lyons Airport or 3 hours from Geneva Airport. Driving from Calais takes approx 9 to 10 hours. A parking space in the underground car park is included for you to use.
The apartment is situated on the third floor at the rear of the building with views down the valley and to the mountains above the site. It has lift access and is suitable for wheelchair users if required.

Outstanding ski chalet
St Martin is a lovely, quiet, ski resort which gives easy access to the world class Trois Vallées, but without the high prices normally associated with other resorts in the area.
This apartment is truly ski in ski out, perfectly placed, on the piste, next to the lift. Classic Savoyard internal decor, it is spacious, but cosy, and the fabulous pool and spa is a great way to relax after a hard day on the mountain.
The Chalet staff are superb, assisting with restaurant bookings and advice whenever we needed.
The owner is very helpful and communicative, giving comprehensive instructions on access etc.
If you are looking for a great ski apartment in a perfect location, you will not find any better than this.
