You'll have the best ski access on the mountain with this slopeside recently renovated home. Just walk out the back door and ski down to the chairlift! Thoughtfully upgraded in June of 2022, this getaway features fresh paint, appliances, brand-new furniture, partial air-conditioning, and heating from two mini-split units!
After a full day on the slopes, the warm fireplace will welcome you home to cozy up and thaw out while dinner is being made in the available full kitchen. The expansive windows will let you watch the nighttime skiers from the warmth of your living area, or you can step outside onto the wraparound deck for a view of the leaves changing in the fall.
WHAT’S NEARBY
No matter your adventure here at Sugar Mountain, it's not far away. The resort is right up the street, where you can enjoy the ski lodge, skating rink, and even the golf course when the weather is nice. Summertime visitors can enjoy piloting the rushing waters via High Mountain Expeditions' white water rafting. You can walk along the Mile High Swinging Bridge or fly along the treetops at Hawksnest Ziplining for a scenic view of the mountains.

Summary: This unit is on the top floor, there is another unit on the bottom floor. It is located in the second row of cabins from slope but you can still see people on the slopes and ski lifts from the living and dining room (as well as the side deck) which was amazing! If you are a beginner you will probably not be able to ski back to this cabin until you are able to ski the blue level slopes. You do not have to worry about heat, this cabin stayed extremely warm with two split units to heat it. There is a gas fireplace in the living room if additional heat is needed which was really nice! Plenty of plates, bowls, utensils, and drinking cups. A few very small pots, pans, a very small baking sheet for the oven, blender, coffee pot in the cabinets etc. The oven is small but works well. Dishes need to be handwashed and dried as there is no dishwasher. There is no washing machine or dryer in this unit, it said there is a coin laundry facility. You get one space for parking just remember someone else will have to fit next to you for the people in the bottom unit. We put down that three people would be staying for three nights but we were only given two towels, two wash cloths, one hand towel, and a bath mat, not a big deal we made it work, be prepared just in case.
