Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Wonderful view over the fields. Nice view of Geysir, we could see it spout from inside the property. However, that will soon be obstructed by the trees growing along the road. Great spot for exploring the Golden Circle. Equipped with a washing machine and lots of other equipment.
Negative: No dishwasher. We were with 3 people so the property was indeed spacious. When staying with more than 5 people it'll get cramped downstairs. Plenty of beds though. The gravel road to the property is very bumpy, one needs to be careful. The coordinates on booking.com are off by 100 meters or so. However, we were sent the right coordinates the day before arrival. When leaving, all linnen and towels need to be dropped on a pile to male it easier for the cleaning crew. We've seen this in other venues but it is an extra activity on the checkout day. Part of the fence surrounding the deck was broken down and has been lying there for a long time. Looks sloppy.
