Have fun with the whole family at our lovely, Spanish-style home located in the charming, beachside town of San Buenaventura. You will have your own private house with beautiful, spacious yards in a quiet neighborhood at the foot of the hill with sounds of songbirds by day and crickets by night. The home is so close to everything great about our city and region but is happily removed from the noise and bustle. Come enjoy our Ventura.
Welcome to our classic and original 1920s Spanish home located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Below an open space hill (with a gentle walking trail that affords mountain and ocean views) sits our house. At night listen to a crickets and the distant ocean waves and by day enjoy the glorious Ventura sun and ocean breeze.
Our home provides a simple, clean and classic space for you to enjoy. The large, warm living room is just the place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening of relaxing from your day of fun. Wake up from a comfy bed and soak in some of the most beautiful and desirable weather in the country.
The backyard is large and landscaped with flowers, small trees, and established fruit trees (any ripe fruit is for you to enjoy!). The garden space offers a warm place to relax with views up the hill as well as a large patio to have an outdoor dinner or play games with the family. Dogs are also welcome to have fun in this large space (inside and out).
Please note that our home has many original features including wood single-pane windows (some of which swell in the weather and are difficult to open), no central air conditioning (we do offer a couple portable AC units), and original wood floors with minor blemishes from almost 100 years of use. Also, street parking is tight and only one on-street space is available.
