Positive: I can't speak about the staff, as we never really interacted with them in person. They were quick to respond through text, however, and were very pleasant in that regard. The property and grounds are very nice, and the backyard area is very picturesque. The location was great and made it easy to get to the shops, trails, the Kanc, etc. I liked that we had access to the office area for extras and snacks.
Negative: The room was nice and clean, but a bit crowded, which made it difficult to store things. The bathroom is also very small, with limited room and counter space. Having said that, the price is very reasonable and it is fine for a short stay. The biggest concern for me personally was that there was no exhaust in the bathroom, so when you showered, it became very steamy and humid, which made the room hot. In my opinion, the a/c unit is old and needs updating. It did not cool the room well enough, especially with the humidity from the bathroom. Luckily, we brought our own fan, or we would not have slept well. For those thinking that we could just open the windows, we were on the ground floor right next to the office and backing up to the patio. If we opened the windows, we would have had to leave the blinds open, and that was a big no with all of the people walking by. The place overall was nice for the price and we would stay again, just be prepared if it is in the warmer months.
