Choose Stella Maris as your "star of the sea" for the perfect beach vacation. Your family will be delighted by its beautiful amenities and 5 Master Suites so everyone will enjoy both privacy and room to relax together on its decks, screened porch or around the large private pool. There is free parking at the Bonita Street beach access parking lot (less than a 1/2 mile to the east). [Note: At this home, no dogs or other animals are allowed; AC thermostats cannot be lowered below 73F degrees.]

TOP LEVEL:
The Great Room offers a large flat-screen TV, plenty of comfortable couch seating and access to the upper deck with a furnished screened porch and a picnic table. The kitchen has granite countertops with plenty of space to prepare family meals. The kitchen island has a prep sink and can seat 4 at the counter with a dining table that seats 8. There is a half bath next to the kitchen. A small Loft offers seating and privacy plus sunset views to the west from its balcony. A King Master Suite is on this level with flat-screen TV, access to the top deck and a large master bath with a low-barrier shower. [Note: gas fireplace is not available for guest use.]
MID LEVEL:
From the entry way, the den is another sitting area for family members to gather and relax. There are three Master Suites on this floor, each with private baths, flat-screen TVs and deck access: a King Master, another master has 2 Twin Beds and the third master has 2 Single Bunk Bed Sets which will be great as a kids' bedroom.
GROUND LEVEL:
Down to the ground level, there is a game area with pool table, kitchenette with full-size refrigerator and more Lounge seating with flat-screen TV. The laundry area is located next to the Queen Jr. Master Suite which has a semi-private bathroom that is shared with the game area. The private pool (12' x 28', open June to mid-Sept.) and hot tub complete the outdoor area outside the home along with a charcoal grill. There is parking for 3-4 vehicles in the driveway.
EXTRAS:
As a guest of the Monteray Shores community, your family will be able to make reservations online to use the community amenities. These amenities are available during business hours and include 2 community piers for small craft boat launch, fishing or crabbing (NC License is required), a children's playground, 3 basketball courts, 4 tennis/pickleball courts, adult and kiddie pool (summer only), and a fitness center.

Summary: This rental was very nice but some improvements could be made. The biggest issues were that none of the sink drains drained properly and the entire house was crawling with spiders and ants. I realize that bugs are going to be outside but the inside could have been better controlled. The living room couch was big and looked perfect for our group of 9 however it was less than comfy. My whole group highly recommends the owners make an upgrade here. The AC was also locked and we couldn’t get it cooler than 73 which is pretty warm for us northerners and the internet was disappointing for the kids. Some pros to note… the house was very clean (besides the bugs) the neighbor hood is great, trash and pool services came as expected, the kitchen was very well stocked with supplies, pool and hot tub are great!
