Beautiful, private outdoor enthusiasts or family getaway in Jamaica, VT. Nestled on 2 acres and bordering Ball Mountain State Park and the West River. This 4 bedroom, 3 full bath Vermont dream home has all the modern conveniences. It is equipped with a cozy fireplace, plenty of wood and mountain views. The open floor plan lends itself to entertaining, big family meals and bbqs or game time. The modern kitchen has a wide range stove, stainless appliances, plenty of space for helpers and two dishwashers for easy clean-up. The dining room can accommodate 9 comfortably in beds. A wrap around couch in the main living room is a great place to cuddle up and enjoy a movie in front of the fire, a game of Wii with the kids or a movie and wine and cheese with friends. The back deck provides views of the mountain, a designer bbq grill and new deck furniture for 8 people.
The house is a short ride to Stratton mountain for skiing, 4 short miles to the access road. It is centrally located for skiing, snowboarding, biking, hiking and a ton of other outdoor activities. In fact, there's an amazing waterfall hike 20 minutes walk off the side of the property along the west river trail. This house is also close to many fantastic restaurants, Manchester shopping, skiing, hiking, golfing and spas. Seasonal activities include fishing, kayaking, canoeing, golfing, mountain/road biking, leaf peeping, snowmobiling, area fairs and festivals. We are close to several cute Vermont country towns, including Londonderry, Jamaica, Newfane, Grafton and Weston.
The house is located on two acres and since it borders the state park, it is extremely private. If you are looking for relaxation from a hectic lifestyle or a big backyard for fresh area, campfires and the soothing sounds of indigenous birds, this is your place.
