Summary: My wife and two teen boys decided to drive 15 hours to spend Thanksgiving on the beach in the Gulf of Mexico. Crazy huh? It was worth every minute of the car ride. We stayed on the 4th floor of Phoenix III facing the Gulf and the view from the balcony was simply stunning. That is one view that never gets old. We were able to watch the sun both rise AND set from the comfort of our condo balcony. The natural beauty is unsurpassed. The weather could have been a bit warmer but shorts and a t-shirt was still the uniform of the day. It was a pleasure to work with Judy as she was very responsive to our questions. I wish all hosts were as kind and accommodating as she was. The condo was clean and orderly. The king sized beds were plenty comfortable and the sound of the crashing waves kept calling us to the balcony. There is no substitute to staying right on the beach. We can't wait to return because the ocean is always calling. Happiness comes in waves you know!
