There is a busy road between this house and the homes on the lake. You should expect some road noise when sitting by the fire pit - especially during rush hour. The house has great noise insulation and the interior is very quiet!
If you want to get out on the beautiful Lake Travis water, you can walk directly across the road to the Riviera Marina, where you can rent a boat for a few hours or a full day.
We do have a few important rules:
1) No loud, late night parties. We want you to stay here and have a good time, but this space is surrounded by neighbors with children. The sound echos on the lake, and we want to respect our community, so this space is not a good fit for large parties or events that go late into the night. Feel free to eat and drink and relax outside at night - just use good judgement: this space is not appropriate for 2am outdoor DJ sets.
2)We love dogs and cats and want your pet to enjoy this wonderful place with you. We do allow pets, but your pets must be non-destructive and well behaved. That means your pet must be house trained, does not get up on furniture, and does not scratch doors, windows, or floors. Please wash your pet's paws before coming back inside. **We inspect the space after each guest, and reserve the right to charge to repair damages caused by your pet!**
