The space
Swallow Cottage is a stone barn built in the early 1900s. The cottage has had a full refurbishment over the last couple of years with the newest addition a fully kitted out kitchen at the start of 2024. The accommodation now maintains many of the cottage quirks mixed with modern comforts.
Guest access
Guests have sole access to the whole cottage as well as the stone walled garden. The front garden is communal and accessible by the residents from other barns in the complex.

Summary: We had a lovely holiday In Cornwall and the cottage was a pleasure to come back to after a day at the beach or sightseeing. Swallow Cottage is very homely and tastefully decorated. The modern and traditional blend well together. The kitchen is very well appointed with all modern appliances. The bathroom also. There are two steps to the lounge and another two in the leading to the bathroom and bedrooms. The later two do not have a handrail due to the location near hallway window. Some guests may find this difficult if they have mobility issues. The enclosed garden is wonderful for the four legged guest. Our little fur baby loved it. Parking for in loading & reloading luggage is ver convenient. All in all a lovely place to stay. Well deserving of an exceptional rating.
