Summary: Wonderfully located just near the harbor with plenty of restaurants within walking distance, we got a solid start on the day with the delicious and hearty cooked to order breakfast. It's just steps to the South West Coastal Path for short or long hikes and a nice swimming beach close by. Since Ilfracombe was our first stop on our way south, the host provided an extensive list of places we might want to visit. We were able to find free on-street parking out in front both days we stayed, but the Collingdale's own spots are reasonable and convenient too. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that the ensuite shower is quite small and hot water takes a long time to reach the upper floor. As I said—minor. I'd stay again, recommended!
