The Gest-house is an independent part of the private estate GlassHouse. The layout is loft style, an open and bright space, but with a sliding door that allows to separate the living room and the kitchen. A wood burning fireplace allows you to enjoy the cooler nights and offers a warm accompaniment. The kitchen is fully equipped to enjoy good breakfasts, intimate meals at home, or romantic dinners. When the weather permits, there is a small table and chairs to sit on the terrace. The house was designed to accommodate friends and guests, so all the details were taken care of with personal touches. All those who have come, no longer wanted to leave! Our Guest House is an independent part of the private estate of the main house.
The guests, not only enjoy the most private garden of the Guest House, but of the entire farm.
Just 80 meters from the famous and spectacular cliffs of Loiba, is a corner of the world still little known, wild, and virgin. There is a PR (small path) or cial trail that can be taken 50 meters from the house that goes along the coast, to the north or to the south. At 70 meters from the house is the magnificent beach of Fabega which is accessed by a path and when the tide is low you can walk from the beach of Fabega to the beach of Carro, a beautiful promenade that offers 3 beaches of very different environments. From home you can also walk to the Picon (by the PR), where in summer there is a very authentic chiringuito that, when there are any, offers barnacles or details of the area as a free tapa with a drink. 50 meters further on is the beautiful beach of Picon. For the most active and adventurous you can follow the PR along the coast, a spectacular walk with unique views, to the beach of Esteiro, a beach known for the south! Stas but also ideal for families with children since it flows into the estuary of Esteiro and is an ideal place to take a bath because the water level is very low. There is also a beach bar where you can eat good local food. The PR can also be taken in the opposite direction towards Mazorgan, the beach of Celtigos and Espasante, another very beautiful walk. We offer bikes to rent for those who pre! Were doing these tours as well.
It is possible to stay here without a car for those who just want to enjoy the nearby environment, since 500 meters there is the FEVE station and 700 meters from the bus station and 400 meters there is a small supermarket that has everything. In the town there are several bars and a restaurant, El Galen, where you can taste the best seafood and fish from the Galician estuaries as well as the best typical dishes of Galicia's cuisine. In addition to the bikes, to rent we have a trial bike and three seater motorbike.
The area offers many activities for both sports and quiet, from hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, quad biking, surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing and numerous spectacular beaches (Playa de Espasante, Celtigos, Sarridal, Playa del Carro , Fabega, Picon, Esteiro, Vilela, Vares, Kaolin, Xilloi, Abrela ... and more!). The best way to get around the area depends on what the guests want to do. From home you can walk to at least 5 different beaches and 400 meters there is a small store where you can buy everything. There are also some bars and cafes less than 1 km from home.
You can also move one by bike and of course by car.
