This newly built 4-bedroom spacious guesthouse is located in Marin County, near San Francisco, Wine Country, and under 5 minutes away from China Camp (great for hiking and biking). This bright and modern space is perfect for business travelers, tourists, and those looking for a peaceful retreat.
This private space is attached to the main house and has its own entrance. It is fully furnished with all new stylish high-end finishes, appliances, and furniture, as well as access to a spacious patio and backyard. Large windows and three skylights ensure the space is filled with light whenever the sun is out. The living room has an indoor fireplace and large flatscreen television. Each of the four bedrooms have built-in closets and drawers providing generous storage. The kitchenette is equipped with a full size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric egg cooker, dishwasher, and sink. It is stocked with silverware, dinnerware, and glassware. Essential supplies such as paper towels, cleaning supplies, soap, towels, shampoo, etc. are provided.

Guests are provided with one off-street parking spot, located in front of the gate leading to the private entrance.
For stays longer than 7 days, guests may request cleaning services for an additional cleaning fee of $150. Guests will pay the cleaners directly in cash. Cleaners will do a deep cleaning of entire guesthouse, change linens, clean the outside patio, and take garbage out. Please note that the house cleaners will not be doing housekeeping. This means cleaners will not be picking up or organizing clutter, washing or folding personal laundry, or washing dishes.
For security purposes, there are two outdoor cameras. The first is monitoring the driveway and the second is monitoring the the walkway to the guest house. There are no cameras monitoring the backyard or anywhere in the guest house.

Summary: If you are looking for a quiet residential neighborhood where you can be together with family and friends, but also enjoy a quiet, peaceful environment, then I urge you to consider this property. The Guest House is attached to the owner's residence but is spacious, well designed, and decorated beautifully. We are a family of 7 who live 5,000 miles apart who met in Marin County for Christmas. The host had a Christmas Tree up and lights in the garden to greet us. A bottle of wine and a Christmas card were on the kitchen counter. It felt like a warm welcome. The kitchenette was stocked with coffee, tea and other basics. The kitchenette was spacious enough for us to prepare breakfast and snacks, and the microwave and toaster oven plus the Keurig coffee pot gave us all of the cooking equipment we needed. The lack of a stove/oven (which was clearly described and photographed in the listing) gave the cooks in our crew the perfect excuse to be off duty and enjoy their vacation. We generally ate breakfast at the Guest House, one large meal out and snacks in the evening. It worked out very well for us. The December weather prevented us from using the large grill and outside dining table, but it is surely a lovely place to dine in good weather. The four bedrooms gave us plenty of sleeping space and the laundry facilities inside the guest house made it easy for us to stay on top of the dirty laundry 7 people can generate. The easy access to Hwy. 101 and the home's Central Marin location made the Guest House the perfect launching pad for our San Francisco, Napa/Sonoma and Marin County sightseeing. The main bathroom has a full wheelchair accessible shower. This is a great property for those who have mobility challenges. We truly loved our 2022 Christmas Holiday and this property had much to do with that. Thank you to our Host Maritza who promptly responded to each and every message I sent her both before we arrived and during our stay. Lovely property, lovely Host.
