Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Dinner and breakfast was intricately crafted with seasonal ingredients. Staff and service were attentive and friendly. The private bookable onsen at the top of the facility had a beautiful view of the water. As we visited in the fall, there were minimal bugs or mosquitoes.

Negative: While the ryokan is located in a very small town with limited transportation options, Uminohana arranged pick up and drop off which made the visit very convenient and smooth.
