Positive: We booked this property as a last minute alternative to one which suddenly became "unavailable", and it proved to be a perfect alternative. We received several messages about the booking in procedure, and once we arrived we were able to gain access to the apartment. It was clean and very well equipped with a perfect kitchen area which we were unfortunately unable to try out as we ate out both nights! Very comfortable beds, and a well equipped bathroom - would definitely recommend. Handy 7/11 around the corner for necessities, and a Safeway for other groceries not far away. We also asked a few questions re waste and recycling, all of which were quickly answered.
Negative: The only issues we had was the failure of the water to drain away from the shower, needing some help from the strategically placed plunger, and the failure of other hirers, either in this property or the ground floor apartment, to put the bins out - we did so, moving 4 very heavy bins out into the street.
Summary: Well equipped basement apartment.
