Villa Blanku Blou: an exclusive design villa located just a few minutes from the popular Jan Thiel beach.
Villa Blanku Blou is one of the top of the line holiday homes on Curaçao. Immerse yourself in all the luxury that the villa has to offer. Everything has been thought of to make your stay a holiday you will never forget. You can jump straight from the master bedroom into the infinity pool with a view over the interior of Curaçao!
From the pool deck you have a panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea, the Spanish water and the interior of Curaçao.
On the ground floor is the entrance with the floating staircase that takes you straight into the spacious living room with open kitchen. The open European kitchen is adjacent to the living room and consists of a kitchen wall with built-in appliances including a combination microwave, luxury coffee machine and American refrigerator with built-in ice cube maker. The large cooking island has a dishwasher and a spacious induction hob.
There is a terrace on either side of the kitchen. By opening the sliding glass doors, the living space is completely connected to the outdoor areas.
On the ground floor you will find the master bedroom and the 3 other bedrooms. All bedrooms have air conditioning and a private en-suite bathroom with designer sanitary ware of high European quality.
The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet, an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and double sink made of oak. The bathroom is very modern with marble tiles and matte black taps. In addition, the master bedroom has its own access to the pool terrace.
The swimming pool is based on magnesium. Magnesium relaxes the muscles, detoxifies the body and reduces stress and pain. In addition, swimmers do not suffer from red eyes, breathing problems or chlorine smell. From the seats at the infinity edge of the pool you have a great view of the sun slowly setting behind the hills of Curaçao during the sunset.
The villa is equipped with 220v sockets and there are no inverters. You must take care of this yourself if necessary.

DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €500, payable via VRBO. The deposit is intended to cover the additional costs mentioned below. The remainder of the deposit will be refunded to you via VRBO.
WATER & ELECTRICITY
The prices include normal water (1m3 p.n.) & electricity (10 kWh p.p.p.n.) consumption. The meter readings are taken at both check-in and check-out. After taking the meter readings during check-out, the host will tell you how much water and electricity consumption has been. Additional consumption is charged at the local rate of €8.50 per m3 of water and €0.50 per kWh of electricity.
INTERMEDIATE CLEANING
For stays longer than 10 days, interim cleaning is required every 7 days. The costs are €125 per interim cleaning.
POSSIBLE DAMAGE
We assume that everything is in order when you leave the villa, but in the event of loss, theft or damage to items belonging to the villa, an amount will be charged. If the deposit you paid covers the damage, this will be paid via the deposit. If the deposit is not sufficient, we are forced to report the damage via VRBO and VRBO will reimburse us for the damage via your credit card or other payment method.

Summary: Let me start by saying the villa is a nice quaint villa. The checkin was smooth and quick. Now on to the issues, which there were quite a few. 1. ANTS- ants are EVERYWHERE, even in the beds!! We were told that if we had food or drinks to make sure we cleaned up afterwards to keep the ants away. Well I assure you food is not the issue, the villa just has an ant problem. 2. Beware, this villa charges for water and electricity. Upon arrival we were advised that there would be a fee if we went over a certain amt. We stayed at the villa 4 nights and used under 200kw of electricity, for those that are confused, that’s 4 nights of air conditioning used AT NIGHT ONLY, not a single time used during the day. Upon checkout we get a notification of $195 due for electricity and water. We never used the dishwasher or washing machine nor washed any hair and to add insult we were never even advised of water charge. AND there was no allowance for electricity so you pay for what you use!! 3. The landscapers came bright and early with the trimmers. Imagine our surprise to wake up to that noise while on vacation. When we messaged the management we were told that there was a mixup in the scheduling. 4. The pool cleaning guy just let himself in the house, we had no clue he was coming. Again, imagine our shock at a strange man entering our villa unbeknownst to us. 5 To any people that use wash cloths to shower, please know, this villa does not have them! We had to go buy them 6 no ceiling fans!
