Positive: We’re a family of 5 who stayed at Villa Olu from 22nd to 28th May. The villa is situated in a quiet location walking distance to Radisson Blu hotel and a tuktuk ride to Galle Fort, Unawatuna beach and many other attractions. We had an absolutely fabulous stay and left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed and will definitely return again. Kumara and team were absolutely fantastic, they cooked a delicious breakfast every morning of fruit and eggs and freshly squeezed juices/coconuts; they even made pancakes on request. We had dinner in the villa 3 nights, where we had the most amazing Sri Lankan curry twice and Thai Curry. Kumara can even make many western dishes including a Sunday Roast with all the trimmings and Yorkshire puddings if you like that. The villa is located on a strip of breach, the waves were choppy but the sound was very relaxing and we watched the most beautiful sunset from the pergola while the children swam in the pool. The team arranged massages for us and recommended we visit Vijay beach to see the turtles and jungle beach to see the monkeys, which we did, and honestly the turtles swimming on the shore line were a highlight of the holiday. We attended the surf school in the nearby Dewata beach and we all managed to stand on the board. We truly had the best vacation and cannot thank Mark the owner enough for arranging the transfers and allowing early and late check out. Kumara and team were absolutely fantastic, discreet and professional and always went above and beyond to truly make the trip something we will never forget. We look forward to visiting again soon - the Baruni-Clark Family, British family from Dubai.
