SLEEPING ACCOMODATIONS
The master en suite features a king bed with a custom wooden headboard, a fireplace, leather side chairs with an ottoman. The en suite bath has dual vanities and a tub/shower combination. Bedrooms 2 & 3 offer full beds. Bedroom 2 has a desk and chair while bedroom 3 has a side chair. Both are light-filled rooms among the treetops. Bedroom 4 has a twin bunkbed. Sleeps eight people comfortably. Bathrooms 2 & 3 are shared by Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4. Bathroom 2 can act as the guest bath. All are full baths.
LIVING & ENTERTAINING (Interior)
Walk through the side door and be greeted by a bright and spacious living room with a huge sectional with seating for 6+. Two comfy mid-century chairs flanking the gas fireplace can accommodate two more. Gorgeous hardwood floors and large cow hides complete the modern, yet comfortable/rustic look. Relax and enjoy some of your favorite TV shows on the 50” SmartTV. The TV has Spectrum cable and has Netflix and Hulu. Don’t forget your Netflix or Prime account numbers so you can stream movies and other favorite entertainment.
The living room is open to the dining and kitchen areas. The kitchen has a large butcher block island and seating for 6 to 8 around a custom-made high-top table. The kitchen is fully updated with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a 5-burner stovetop, double oven, a French door fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher and walk-in pantry. The dining area, adjacent to the kitchen, has a large wooden dining table and seating for 8. There’s a full laundry room too!
LIVING & ENTERTAINING (Exterior)
Off the dining area, through the French doors, is the beautiful central courtyard. This is the place! Hidden sound via Bluetooth connection and bathed with soft light, the courtyard is where you’ll spend most of your time. There is comfy lounge furniture surrounding the center coffee table. Behind that area is a rustic bar made from re-claimed wood with metal bar stools. White, bright umbrellas keep you shaded during the day. The Santa Maria style BBQ is behind the bar and uses either wood or charcoal. Large open areas in front are great for everything from parking to a spirited game of your favorite sport.
GUEST AMENITIES
We provide personal amenities including soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, paper products, kitchen necessities such as dish soap and trash bags. There are plenty of linens and bath towels. Laundry facilities and detergent are both in the laundry area. The kitchen is also stocked with the essential staples: coffee, tea, olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and spices. There is dinner service for 8 as well as plenty of serving necessities.
THE IMMEDIATE AREA
This home is just a two-minute drive or a peaceful 5-minute walk down winding tree-lined streets to downtown Atascadero where there are coffee shops, wine-tasting rooms, bars, a distillery, restaurants, great local shops, and a craft brewery or three. The Atascadero Lake Park and Zoo offers free summer concerts from June through August every Saturday night. Pack a picnic basket, a bottle of wine or two, your beach chairs and enjoy local musicians belting out everything from jazz to rock and blues. Included is a list of the host’s worth-the-time-and-money favorite places and “secret spots” you might otherwise never find.
PROVISIONS
Vons is the nearest grocer, located 5 minutes away on El Camino Real. Just 5 miles up the 101 on Vineyard Drive in Templeton is a Trader Joe’s. While at the Trader Joe's you can pick up some fresh caught fish at Pier 46 Fish Market or grass-fed local meats at J&R Meats.
