Why have a vacation when you can have a 'Wine-cation'! Take a much-needed getaway to our large pool home located in Winchester, just minutes from Temecula’s award-winning wineries and restaurants. From a gorgeous entertaining backyard, featuring a pool, to a game room with classic arcade games, this home has it all. 'Wine-cation' is a 2800 sq ft home featuring 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and can sleep up to 9 people comfortably.
The impressive 2 story entrance greets you and your guests as you walk into the home. The large chef's kitchen opens into the family room, which makes spending quality time making lifelong memories with the family & friends a breeze. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials to make you feel at home.
Our Wine-cation has a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Upstairs you will find the other 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms all featuring hotel style linens, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. While your upstairs, you can let your inner competition up a notch in our game room, adorn with vintage arcade games along with a large gaming table located in the loft.
Your 'Wine-cation' will get even better when you step outside to the backyard oasis. Grab a glass of wine and enjoy the pool, private canopy, umbrella, fire pit areas as well as the perfect lounging areas by the pool. There is a custom built-in BBQ grill where you can cook up something delicious for dinner.

In addition to the great home essentials, Barefoot Vacation Rentals is also partnered with multiple wineries and business' in the local area offering various discounts in town. Many buy-one-get-one digital wine tasting cards for local wineries. Our home is located about 7 minutes from over 30 wineries and about 20 minutes to Pechanga Casino.
A signed rental agreement is required prior to check-in. Please ask the host for more details.
-Pool IS NOT heated but can be heated (only during the months of April thru Oct and outside air must exceed 68 degrees Fahrenheit) for an additional $400 per night with a 2 night minimum. If heating the pool, a pool heating agreement must be signed.
-Pets are welcome at the property with an additional fee of $25 per pet per night, plus a required $70 non refundable deposit. A pet agreement must also be completed. Please ask the host for more details.
Please note: You may see a jacuzzi featured in the photos, but unfortunately the jacuzzi is out of order due a leak. We are actively working to resolve the issue but it is not currently available for use.

Summary: We were looking for a great house for Easter for our big family. The location and size of the house was perfect. However, we planned to use the pool and we paid $800 to heat the pool for 2 days and bought pool toys and everyone was excited. They only heated the pool to 80 degrees and was way too cool for anyone to step into it and cancelled the second day and lost our $400 of the first day. The spa is only heated 3 hours a day and you have to tell them the times of day you want it heated with jets on...a bit of an inconvenience. We've stayed at many vacation rentals all over the world and never had restrictions like this. You can't go out outside - You have a curfew- after 9:45 pm and the house is equipped with sound monitors inside and out to make sure you are not too loud, with the threat of a giant fine. We were nervous the whole time because we have a 5 year old, ADHD child who screams loud at times...and he did. They were very responsive in communication throughout our stay and 2 of our closet lights were out and they came out the next day to fix them. (We never found dish towels to use to dry dishes.) They required a security deposit but we bought extra insurance...that's never happened from any rental. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but won't be returning because of all the restrictions and we will read the details more clearly.
