It's easy to fall under the spell of this masterfully renovated, oversized ranch home just north of Route 6A in the quiet Canterbury Woods neighborhood.
Location, location, location! It's just a two-minute drive or a short walk via pathway to Kings Way Golf Club. Grays Beach is only an eight-minute drive to enjoy the boardwalk for a beautiful sunset walk while seeing the moon setting for the evening. The popular Mayflower & Chapin Beaches are just 12 minutes' drive from the house. Go 12 minutes in the opposite direction and discover the charm of Barnstable Village with its unique shops, restaurants, whale watch cruises and much, much more.
The outdoor living experience at this property is something special walk into the three season porch 24'x14' with five sliders opening to a wrap around deck. Take two more steps down to the pool & patio. Both of these spaces provide a captivating, elevated view of the very private yard and the 16' X 30' heated saltwater pool with an electric, retractable cover. Fire up the gas grill and dine al fresco! There's an outdoor shower here as well.
The house itself is a gem. 2,000 square feet of renovated, topline everything, all on one level, so no stairs to climb.
The spacious, totally equipped kitchen is absolutely dazzling. Counters are white quartz and appliances are stainless steel. You'll find the wine fridge quite convenient for entertaining in the porch and outdoors. The only thing separating the kitchen from the living room is the large peninsula counter with four cushioned seats. The informal dining area is conveniently at one end of the kitchen. Both the dining area and kitchen flow into the tastefully and comfortably furnished and appointed living room, creating a pleasant open and very social core living space.
The home has a second room with lounge seating, this one with a large comfy sectional sofa focused on the oversized wall mounted TV.
Sleeping accommodations include two bedrooms with queen size beds, one with twins. One of the queen rooms is a suite with its own private full bath newley renovated it has a beautiful walk in tiled shower with a shower space of 60” x 40” along with a penny tile floor. Each queen bedroom has a TV.
There are two and a half baths in all, plus a washer and dryer.
