Located in a quiet neighborhood on the New River, S'more River can accommodate up to 9 people and 2 dogs for a one-time pet fee. There is no need for furry family members to miss out on the fun!
The main level features a well-stocked, eat-in kitchen with ample seating and two bar-height chairs for socializing during dinner prep, a main living room with a Roku TV and games for your entertainment, an all-season sunroom with a table perfect for playing board games, a spacious half-bath, and porches on both the front and back of the home with plenty of seating and a gas grill.
On the second floor you will find two bedrooms with king-size beds, one bedroom with two sets of twin bunks plus a full-size bed, and two full baths. (Please note that four of the individual beds are part of twin bunk beds and may not be comfortable for all adults.)
The basement level has a convertible air hockey/ping-pong table, a set of magnetic darts, a smart TV, and level access to the fire pit and picnic table on the side yard.
For your convenience, S'more River is equipped with linens, towels, paper products, soaps and basic cleaning supplies, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryers, and high-speed WiFi. The flat parking area can easily accommodate 3 vehicles. Our goal is for you to start your vacation feeling relaxed and well cared for.
At S'more River, you will be 10 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 15 minutes from downtown West Jefferson with loads of shops featuring local products, a spacious and picturesque playground, and a farmer's market (Spring-Fall). If you enjoy water activities, like fishing, kayaking, and tubing, the proximity to the New River makes all of these things easy and convenient. We provide plenty of river towels for you to use. Activities within 45 minutes include Grayson Highlands State Park in VA, Tweetsie Railroad, and Appalachian State. Grandfather Mountain and the Virginia Creeper Trail are both a little over an hour away. Additional details about local amenities and activities will be given upon booking in our welcome email. S'more River will be decorated for Christmas from December through early January!
