Summary: pros- place looks like pics, good location, largecons- had to deal with AC not working properly on 2 different nights when it was in the 90s all day-3 HUGE roaches appeared the 2nd night we were there. Manager acted as if this was so big deal and that this just happened sometimes in FL. I am TERRIFIED of bugs. I was so stressed I could barely sleep and had nightmares about the bugs. We got in late that night so they wouldn't do anything and VRBO was no help. I was freaking out worrying about them getting into our stuff and where they were going to turn up. Was told someone would come the next morning. I never heard from anyone but we didn't see them the next day and saw a small lizard instead so we were wondering if it may have eaten them. I was stressed out so much during 2 out of the 4 nights we were there that it made it not worth it for us. I felt sick from the heat the first night it was so hot. After all that I asked if we could get a later check out time than 10am cause we are not morning people but was told no because someone was coming to look at the AC again and fumigate. So our stay got wrecked and we couldn't even get a break on that. lol No compensation or anything was ever offered because of all the stress we had to deal with. Also note that the bed under the bunk bed is super creaky, they need blackout shades, and whoever cleans there is obsessed with air freshners so beware if you are sensitive like me because they are everywhere.
