Summary: I’ll start with the pros- Location was perfect for a snow trip with the family to hit the slopes at Dodge Ridge which was only 20 min away. Enough space but it looked bigger in the pics. I like the large dining table for all of us to gather. Patio would be nice during warmer weather. Cons- We were really disappointed to arrive with a drive way full of snow and no shovel. We spent an hour trying to shovel snow with a couple of sleds I happen to bring. A shovel was dropped off the next day, but no longer needed after that. It would have been nice to arrive with a plowed driveway as other neighbors. We felt the house wasn’t completely prepared for guests. No extra garbage bags for 12 people staying 2 nights (an extra bag was delivered the next day), a few dishes weren’t completely clean so we had to rewash so we ended up mostly using paper goods we bought, no laundry detergent ( I guess it’s only provided if you stay longer). I’d suggest guests to bring their own cookware. Just didn’t feel as comfortable and questioned the cleanliness. The house also didn’t have sleds as it mentions in the post. Not sure if the host is new to this seeing that there were only a few reviews when I booked. The little gift is a nice touch. I think the place just needs a little more work preparing for guests. Overall, the group had a great time and the space was enough for 12 people. Thanks so much for having us!
