Summary: This property was almost perfect for what I needed, which was a home base where I could sleep, bathe, cook, and eat. I did not spend a lot of time there during the day, but was able to pop in as needed to make meals before heading back out. It's very cute and I appreciated all of the thoughtful touches, like the Brita water filter, the basket of travel toiletries in case I forgot something, a decent amount of hangers to fully unpack, a spice rack, cooking necessities, etc. It was also nice to have a code to get into the building and into the room making check in easy and providing a sense of safety. I rented a different property from Karl last year and had a good experience there as well. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the property is right next to the train tracks and the rail car honks the horn while crossing the intersection. If you are a light sleeper that may be an issue. I brought a white noise machine plus had the air conditioner on and was able to sleep fine, but it did wake me up between 7am and 8am each morning. As long as I didn't need have a need to sleep late, I would stay here again.
