Positive: Almost everything with this accommodation is amazing. Beautiful view from the house and a nice garden with lots of olive trees. A fairly big (and clean) pool. Three bathrooms. Large bedrooms with lots of storage space. A wonderful dining area outdoors, with a nice view of the ocean and the sunset. The owner is also nice and answers every question quickly.
Negative: Important if you’re tall: The beds are shorter than standard length. There is also a frame around all the beds, which means that you won’t be able to stretch out and sleep comfortably if you’re tall. This is a fairly big issue and information about the beds smaller size should be clear in the booking information. There’s lots of floor space in two of the three bedrooms, so there’s really no need for smaller beds. The only other issue with Ambelos village is the lack of dining furniture indoors (just a small table with 3 chairs). There’s an amazing seating area outside which is shared between the two houses, but if that’s taken or if the weather is bad, it gets really cramped indoors.
Summary: I warmly recommend this accommodation for anyone that’s shorter than 190 cm.
