Apartment within a renovated traditionally built Tuscan farmhouse in the exclusive estate of Arceno, Chianti. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and oak forest dotted with Mediterranean pines. Pool. Concierge, house wine, cocktail bar, WiFi inclusive.
THE APARTMENT
Set into the beautiful Chianti hills of Villa Arceno, a private estate and nature reserve, the apartment is over three floors within a renovated traditional Tuscan farmhouse split into three properties.
Exclusively private, airy ‘Tuscan’ apartment with loggia, (covered balcony) facing south over the Chianti countryside. It has two comfortably large double bedrooms with ceiling fans, each with separate bathrooms. True Tuscan style living room with wood burning stove and a large dining area seating eight and an excellently appointed kitchen for keen or even 'professional' cooks!
With the convenience of Internet access, Wi-Fi, ‘Smart’ 55” T.V. DVD player and iPod dock it is furnished to high standards with antiques and traditional designs accommodating four people for a very unique, stylish and comfortable experience, a true 'home from home'.
From a secluded private garden it has its own entrance at ground level through an iron gateway into a porch. A stairway leads up to a private covered balcony, the 'Loggia' with exclusive use for 'al fresco' dining. The apartment is accessed directly from the Loggia into the living room and kitchen. At one end a twin/double bedroom and bathroom. At the opposite end a stairway leads to the spacious and romantic master bedroom with beautiful views over the vineyards and the village of San Gusmè. The bathroom with a large bathtub and shower serves the master bedroom. Guests also have the use of a tranquil privately shared swimming pool.

‘Arco al Poggio’ is part of ‘Arceno Rentals Club’ which provides our guests with an inclusive quality service before and throughout their stay. From the initial booking process to the end of their vacation ‘Arceno Rentals Club’ is there for our guests. Inclusively we give a ‘Welcome basket’ of quality local foods and wines for the first weekend for weekly stay. We also supply house wine, a bar of branded spirits and Italian liqueurs for the duration of their stay. Other inclusive services are supply of consumables like coffee capsules, dishwasher tablets, charcoal etc. Mid week cleaning and linen change are also included for a minimum of seven night stay.
To make our Guests' vacation ‘heavenly’, we also inclusively provide a Five Star Concierge Service.
Guests will be welcomed at the property by members of a dedicated team who will assist and support them during their stay. We value our Guests' privacy and we shall endeavour to be there for them discreetly and when required at a phone call's notice.
Our Concierge manager assist you with anything from restaurant reservations, excursions to wineries, tour guides and directions, car rental with chauffeur, if required, child minding and more. Should a problem arise, we shall be there for our Guests, allowing them to relax and enjoy their vacation, safe in the knowledge they will be well looked after.

Summary: So many times, one is disappointed by the reality of a booking, but Arco al Poggio exceeded our expectations, and then some! From the moment we pulled up to the apartment we knew we had arrived at someplace special. Gaia made us feel right at home and I must say that the welcome basket and fridge full of food was a blessing after traveling for 20+ hours. Our family stay was for a week, and during that time we only had only two days of nice weather, but the woodstove in the apartment kept us cozy. The kitchen was amazing, with top of the line pots and pans, which allowed me to try "home cooked" regional recipes. The property is just a stone's throw from the charming village of San Gusme', which serenaded us with its church bell daily. Be sure to have dinner at nearby Osteria alla Villa... let them know your staying at Arceno Rentals when you make your reservation for a great table, great food and wonderful service. Gaia was very responsive to our questions, and provided a wireless hotspot when storms knocked out local service. The apartment was well-appointed with games and movies, which helped during the bad weather. A grocery store is located minutes away in Castelnuovo Berardenga, along with a self-serve gas station. Can't overstate how much we enjoyed our stay... frankly, if the apartment wasn't already booked, we would have stayed another week and skipped Rome. Thanks, Arceno Rentals.. we hope to be back someday!
