DESCRIPTION
Hillside Hideaway is a lovely Craftsman-style home located in the desirable Muirlands/Birdrock area of La Jolla. Sited on an elevated lot, this property provides privacy, and coastal ocean views and is within walking distance of restaurants and shops.
Indoor/outdoor living is a big part of the allure of this home with a bubbling hot tub, golf putting green, and a private outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. The outdoor lounge area is perfect for your morning coffee or evening relaxation and the BBQ and dining space are some of the favorite amenities.
Step inside this lovely and you’ll appreciate the craftsman touches, including vaulted exposed-beam ceilings, framed windows allowing plenty of natural light, beautiful wood and stone finishes, and hardwood floors that create a luxurious yet comfortable feeling.
The main living area features a large sectional and TV, and French doors open to the main outdoor space with lounges and a hot tub. The adjacent kitchen features rich solid hardwood cabinetry, a breakfast bar for 4, and is equipped with chef’s grade stainless steel appliances. There’s a light-filled breakfast nook with a table for 4 and an elevated dining room that seats 8.
Bedrooms include a Primary suite with a king bed, a deep soaking tub, and a walk-in shower. This suite also has direct access to the main terrace and hot tub. Bedrooms 2 (queen bed) and 3 (queen bed) share a common bathroom and both have flatscreen TVs and doors to access the outdoor spaces. Bedroom 4 is separate and private and features a king bed.
Hillside Hideaway is within walking distance of restaurants, pubs, surf shops and a grocery store.
