Summary: This little bungalow was cozy, quaint, and definitely gave “you get what you pay for” vibes but in a charming way. That said, the online photos were a bit optimistic. The listing mentioned a hot tub, which didn’t exist (RIP to our spa dreams), but we managed to recover emotionally.The outdoor area was gorgeous—like a secret garden—but the bugs were relentless. We basically played a live-action game of “don’t get bit” every time we walked to the car. (We also made the bold decision to forgo bug spray, so that’s partly on us.)The bed looked like it came with a fluffy comforter in the photos, but in reality, it was a decorative light quilt folded nicely at the end—cute, but not exactly cozy. The place was a little more snug than expected, but still a sweet stay overall.We saw a couple people during our visit, but no one said hi, so we weren’t sure if we were sharing the space with other guests or ghosts. Bonus note: there are two bikes, but unless you’re training for the Tour de France, I’d skip them—they were more aerodynamic torture devices than beach cruisers.All in all, we had a good time. Just come prepared, expect a few surprises, and enjoy the garden… it really is the star of the show.
