The bedrooms consist of three ground-floor bedrooms including a super-king-size with TV and en-suite bathroom, a double with TV and en-suite shower room and a double there is also a family room with TV, king-size and two singles on the first floor, all serviced by a ground-floor bathroom. In the barn, you can find three further doubles, two bathrooms and a sitting room. Outside there is ample off-road parking, a front patio with furniture and a rear patio with lawn. Within 0.2 miles there is a shop, 0.1 miles a pub and 2.7 miles a beach. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, but sorry, no smoking. Within easy reach of the town are the South Lakes Wild Animal Park, the world's only Laurel and Hardy museum at Ulverston and the Haventhwaite Steam Railway which runs to Lakeside, where you can board a steam train for Bowness or Ambleside. Just north of Dalton-in-Furness is the stunning Duddon Estuary and Duddon Valley, with Cartmel, Holker Hall and Grizedale Forest within easy reach. Situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park, and surrounded by mountains and beaches, this area is ideal for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers.
