Island Retreat is less than 2 miles from St. Simons Pier Village as well as East Beach. There is plenty to do and see while visiting including; visiting one of the several parks, shopping, golfing, trolley tours, learning about the history of the the old fort and much, much more! During the summer there is a splash pad for the little ones! There are often weekly concerts or movies under the stars at Neptune Park and festivals at the Mary Ross Waterfront Park.
