An ideal retreat to explore the finest beaches and coastal footpaths of the South Hams, many within walking distance. The nearby picturesque towns of Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Dartmouth offer an array of shops and low key attractions. Thurlestone is a popular village with pretty thatched cottages, an old church and post office. The Village Inn partially constructed from a stricken armada vessel draws an eclectic mix of local characters and visitors eager to sample the local ales. The village boasts one of the best hotels in Devon offering a restaurant, health spa and a 9 hole golf course open to non residents and a superb 18 hole links course.
