You will have access to the entire house and all 2.5 acres the entire time.
High West House is a luxury desert home on 2.5 acres tucked deep into Pioneertown’s exclusive Gamma Gulch neighborhood. The property is covered with huge rugged boulders and views of mountains of rock in every direction. Imagine living inside the Joshua Tree National Park and what that feels like. Perfect for friends and families who are looking for a spectacular one of a kind experience.
The High West House is 15 minutes from Pappy & Harriet’s and 25 minutes from the downtown Joshua Tree. The home is a idyllic destination that you won’t want to leave as you enjoy the hot tub, fire pit, stargazing, pool, game room and hiking into vast BLM land. There is no other home like this in the high desert.
Note: High West House is about 4 miles down a dirt road. It’s passable in a 2wd car, you just have to follow our directions.
◦ THINGS TO NOTE:
Paved Roads/Dirt Roads: Dirt road
Fenced yard: Not fully fenced
Outdoor Surveillance: We have an outdoor camera under the Eve of the garage facing the driveway
Cell phone coverage: NO cellphone coverage
◦ Wildlife: this is the rural desert and we share the space with the wildlife. You may encounter desert ants, mice, coyotes, or if you’re lucky a bobcat.
◦ Authorized early check-in and late check-out are available at $50 per hour
◦ Additionally, any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee
◦ Items left behind will incur a minimum return shipping fee of $50, depending on the shipping address
* Pet Fee is $195
* We are unable to accommodate cats due to the owner's severe allergy. Appreciate your understanding!
◦ RULES:
Noise ordinance:
Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. No external speakers allowed. Any noise related discrepancies will result in at least a $1000 fine.
◦ SMOKING POLICY
No smoking inside the house or within 10ft. Smoke residue will result in excessive cleaning fees
◦ Restricted Areas:
Any locked closet or room is restricted. If forcibly entered you could be held liable for any unaccounted for item.
◦ Hot Tub/Pool:
Hot Tub Use: Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it’s been serviced, as chemical levels are temporarily elevated. We have weekly pool cleanings, this day may fall on your stay and your cooperation will keep the hot tub clean and balanced at all times.
Please rinse off any oils, lotions, or substances before entering the spa, as these can affect water quality and cause discoloration.
No drinking in the hot tub, please.
Be sure to keep the cover on when not in use, especially since we're in the desert and debris can easily get into the water.
Any misuse of the hot tub may result in an additional charge for extra maintenance.
◦ Photoshoots & Video:
No un permitted photoshoots or videoing at the home. If you would like to use our home for those purposes please send us a message. Any unauthorized filming will result in a $5000 violation and production fee.

If you're interested in having a photoshoot please let us know first for a discussion. There are additional fees, contracts, etc (Price start at $2000). You will also need to obtain a permit from the county of San Bernardino.
