Summary: We found this hotel via the app, and figured we’d take little detour to get there. This ”little detour” was half an hour on serpentine roads through a mostly uninhabited Italian landscape, and the inhabitated parts looking a little like the rural parts of Alabama. When we finally arrived in the little village, we got an eerie feeling of being on the set of ”Deliverance”. Do they even have electricity here? Did I hear a banjo playing from the woods? Is this our final destination? All that changed when we arrived at the hotel! Totally brand new! Everything is modern! The service was wonderful, the wines were the best ever, and the food was delicious! 10/10, best ever! But I’m still certain there are vampires in the woods.
