Positive: We had an incredible stay at L’Olmo. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a glass of wine of our choosing. The staff went above and beyond and the service was brilliant. They secured the suite I requested, arranged a morning horse ride and serviced a full three course meal in the suite for my birthday. There was also a bottle of wine waiting in the room with a birthday card. The grounds are incredibly beautiful and everything is immaculately clean and well maintained. We purchased some of their own brand olive oil also which was so delicious! 10/10 stay and will definitely be returning. I also received a Christmas card following my stay - thank you all so much.
Negative: When booking your stay through booking.com it doesn’t secure you a specific suite/room even if you’re paying a premium. So you don’t actually know what you’re paying for despite the pictures it suggests, I had to request a specific suite with the hotel. Thankfully this was accommodated by the lovely staff but given the rooms are different, some being standard rooms and some suits. I would have been disappointed to turn up and given a standard room for the price played (£500+ per night).
