Hike, bike, antique, explore, leaf peep in the autumn, it is truly magical. Semi private Waterville Country Club is 4 miles away, an undiscovered jewel. In the winter there is snowshoeing, cross country skiing on the lake and of course you can set up your own ice fishing shelter. World class downhill skiing mountains are less than 90 minutes away. The scenic mid coast of Maine is an hour away. There are bike and hiking trails nearby. It a a short drive to Waterville, home to Colby and Thomas Colleges. Visit the renowned art museum at Colby and enjoy the many cultural events and restaurants in Waterville.
