Just steps from the shore of Bass Lake and Willow Creek Trailhead, you’ve found the perfect log-cabin retreat, offering all the comforts of home. Nestled into the falls end of the lake, you’re just 17 miles away from Yosemite National Park, 40 miles from Badger Pass Ski Area, and 50 miles from Yosemite Valley. There are also multiple hiking trails right at the lake as well as boating, kayaking, and swimming.
At home, you’ll love the majestic lakeside and mountain views. Sharing the property with the main house, your 900-square-foot guesthouse will enjoy sole use of the dock, beach, main house deck and grassy area while you’re there, and the main house will be unoccupied, giving you plenty of privacy. Inside, you’ll find a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and plenty of room to relax together. Entertainment options include free WiFi and cable, a DVD player, stereo, board games, and a ping-pong table. Fire up the gas grill for dinner and then spend evenings together watching a little TV, or step out to the deck and admire the stars rising over the lake. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this, summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall.
