La Casa Dei Sogni is a large 2 story apartment spread across 3,100 sq ft/300 sq meters located on the beautiful and historic town square Piazza Cisterna in Biella, Italy. The building was constructed in 1500!!!
The apartment has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and can sleep up to 12 people. The apartment is very spacious and designed with comfort in mind, but with a fun colorful touch.
Biella is a beautiful city in the northern Italian region of Piedmont approximately 75 minutes from Milan and at the foot of the Italian/Swiss Alps which are just a 40 minute drive away.
La Casa Dei Sogni is located on the historic square Piazza Cisterna that is located above the main town accessible via a lovely cable railway. Biella is a wonderful walkable city with lots of shops, coffee bars and restaurants. On Piazza Cisterna you will find 4 restaurants.
There are beautiful views from both ends of the apartment. From the two primary bedrooms you have a view of Piazza Cisterna and from our two balconies you have a view of the city of Biella. Biella and the surrounding area have lots to offer from Sanctuary of Oropa and Palazzo Gromo Losa to the famous Menabrea brewery. There is no shortage of outstanding art, history, cathedrals, and museums. You wouldn't expect anything less when in Italy!
It also offers phenomenal dining experiences which you come to expect in Italy. Some of our favorites include Il patio (Michelin 1 star), Duo Cuori (located just outside our front door), Ristodrogheria Doppio Zero, Regallo and there are so many others. Please check our guidebook for suggestions.
Entrance to building is through the port to the courtyard. At the entrance you will find a key box. Key box code will be provided on your arrival date. For your convenience we also have a personal elevator that takes you to the apartment.
On the lower level is a very large living room and dining room with a modern but cozy design esthetic. There is a large fully equipped Kitchen with a nice balcony overlooking the courtyard and the city of Biella, and an excellent spot to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail or wine. It also has a bedroom with a luxurious Murphy Bed. The floor also contains a newly renovated full bathroom.
On the second floor you will find 4 bedrooms - one which is set up as a sitting/office room with a sleeper sofa. This room has access to the large balcony where you can enjoy dinners or just a cocktail. The primary bedroom is large with a very comfortable king size bed. The secondary bedroom is also spacious with a lovely queen size bed. The last bedroom is a long narrow room and has 2 twin beds and a queen size bed making it an ideal space for kids/teens. This floor has two newly renovated full bathrooms along with a new washer and dryer.
If you come via rental car, there is a large parking garage approx. 400 meters away from which you can walk up to the square via stairs or take an elevator. The parking is FREE. If you arrive during the day you can drive up to the square to unload your luggage and then go to the parking area. Cars are NOT allowed on the square after 6pm during summer and a midnight during winter. Anyhow parking is not allowed, only downloading.
