Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Perfect location opposite the lido and lake. The most scenic location we have ever visited. Great well stocked kitchen so we only ate out once. Very Comfortable bed too. Easy walk into Locarno town.
Negative: This is the list of items that would be helpful to supply by the owners. The main thing is there is NO AIR CONDITIONING! It was 33/34°c and baking hot at night so difficult to sleep in the heat. Be aware of that. Long handled brush- couldn’t sweep bits off the floor. 2 more pillows Fan Hoover bags - hoover wouldn’t work. Towels- poor quality and only 2 bath towels for 12 days. Needed more as had many showers Loo roll Microwave Sink plug Washing up bowl New toaster- have to hold the handle down whilst bread is being toasted or else it doesn’t work.
Summary: Even though the apartment was missing the above items we had a great stay and the location is stunning.
